I enjoyed it. It seems to me like a mix of quake 4 and resistance. Worth a rent.

Thanks for the tip! I've been waiting to see a demo of this one. I'm already looking forward to downloading this as soon as I get home.

It's really short though, only took about two minutes
If they clean this up. This could be good. Feels like "Black" on steriods and the explosion at the end. One of the best video game explosions evaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
It's short....real short....

But it's still very cool...definitely see it as a kinda Black 2
better than expected.... not half bad!
Nice 'little' demo , no wonder they called it a Teaser Demo . Certainly has promise and you can see the influence of many different FPS games . I'm not blown away by it but it could be very fun and it will have online co-op which is always a nice addition .

I liked it. Certainly short but looked and controlled well. I've always like controlling a squad so I will be sure to keep an eye out for this.
Gee...a 600MB download for 5 minutes of entertainment...clearly, DVD-9 is not going to be enough for next-gen games.

Some people might be brainwashed into believing this, unfortunately.
Loved it! Great graphics and gameplay. LovControlling the squad, reminds me of Freedom Fighters which is I liked. Musical score rocks. Framerate needs a bit of work but still I can't wait for more.
Ok, a few random thoughts after playing through it.

I liked it for the most part. I especially like his remark about gas prices if you toss a grenade at the gas sign right at the beginning of the level (nice hidden touch). Good graphics, I like controlling the squad, the environment/atmosphere was good, etc.

However, I have a few complaints (and a lot of this applies to most FPS, not just this one in particular). I guess I expect too much from games...but that probably comes from stepping away from playing for the PS2 generation and coming back expecting a big step up 2 generations later, but it seems they're still the same game mechanics.
  1. I can't shoot my own squad mates? Not even a reaction? Yeah, that's the first thing I tried.
  2. I hate invisible walls (try to walk down the road right that's right at the beginning).
  3. No bullet holes in walls/cars when you shoot them (although quite a bit is destructable). That seems pretty basic, and maybe will be in the full game.
  4. Bodies still disappear (really quickly it seemed)
  5. After the gas station, there is that section where those aliens are charging you (they look like the bugs from Starship Troopers). My seasoned marine (?) still can't climb up the slightly angled walls.
  6. Same section, I ran past an alien, turned around and he had disappeared.
  7. Same section, but if you go up the ramp, then back the sides (behind the railings): More invisible walls towards the end. Again, my full grown adult male cannot possibly scale that 3 foot high railing to jump down below. Also, my squadmate blocked me in and I couldn't get out until I used my squad command to redeploy him somewhere else.

Again, I probably expect too much given current hardware and development time, but I like a little more realism. It just seems to me that I keep playing the same games over and over, with just better graphics. I want to be able to crawl under that truck (there's a good 3 feet of clearance under most trucks). I want to be able to shoot the tires out of all those cars sitting around. I want to be able to scale a 3 foot railing. I don't want railway cars to block my path, since in real life I can easily crawl under or between the cars, etc...

Anyways, I did like the feel of the game overall, and will probably pick this up. Maybe I'm just in cynical mood tonight. Sorry.

Awesome! The only thing I didn't like was the chopiness. Besides that, this game looks top-notch!!
@ mrproper

Despite those complaints the demo still had lots of nuisances. for instance if you were close to a teammate and aimed your gun towards him or moved your cursor across his location you'd automatically lift you gun(like a marine would).
God I love demos. This game is definitely not for me. The only similarity b/w this game and resistance is that you are fighting some kind of non-human enemy. I didn't like the gameplay at all.

Didn't notice that, but why is that a nuisance? IMO, that's a nice little attention to detail (despite it not really adding anything to the gameplay).

I'm thinking maybe he meant nuances.
^^^^ that was funny. I meant it was like resistance in the way the gun sounds and the way the bullets fly.

OH NO DVD IS THE END OF THE WORLD! Ok back to my 120+ hour game of Oblivion...
