Saw a thread on the HD-DVD side regarding an increase of HD-DVD's, well they added plenty of BD's as well

Actually most of the titles were already there it is just that the collections page was limited to showing only 100 of them. They did add 10-20 titles they previously did not have on their site.

All are listed here: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=802227

Edit: Bah!! Jiffy beat me to it.

I've seen the thread before, but he's really updated it since I last looked. Kudos to him

Interesting thing to note, I counted 226 on BB online , and MS line count said 232 on his list.

I wonder what the 6 unaccounted for ones are?

A couple of days ago there wasn't a blu-ray version at all, hopefully we will get it soon.

I put it at #1 on my queue.

Is Netflix any better on availability?

My experience with BBO has been good so far (not the web interface, but the actual movies coming in the mail).

The reason I went with Blockbuster is the ability to return movies to the store and pick up free movies that day. If it wasn't for this feature I don't think there would be any reason to pick them over Netflix.

That and the coupon for a free game.

7.99 a month for 3 online HD/BD rentals, 3 in store DVD rentals, and 1 free game rental.

Works for me.

Works for me.

I have used the free game rental, and it saved me $60 on Virtua Fighter.

7.99 a month? I went for the 4 movies at a time.

Works better for me because I have kids, so I can have stuff for me and for them at the same time.

the cheapest available plan is 9.99 for one at a time. seems a good deal even at 1 disc a week to be watched on weekend.

Actually, the cheapest plan is $5.99 (which is the one I use). You only get 1 online rental at a time with a maximum of 2 per month. Plus, those 2 a month get me a free in store rental each and the online coupon adds another free movie or game. So, I'm really getting 5 rentals a month for only 6 bucks. This plan is perfect for me because I'm not a big renter (prefer to buy).

I have had Marie Antoinette in my queue for 3 months and it still says "coming soon."

are these deals u guys mention/use, the 5.99 and 7.99 ones, available online? i didnt see them in the sign ups.

i think they still have some of the titles that were postponed on their site, one i particulary remember was Princess Bride. correct me if i'm wrong in thinking this one was postponed like Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.

Nope.. I meant 1 at a time and just listed the total monthly quantity.

I pay 7.99 a month.

Sorry for the confusion

That is exactly it, postponed with no new release date.

I think there is a 'more plans' option when you are signing up.

I also use BBO and am very satisfied with it. Bly-Ray discs although most of them are in "Long Wait" status are still being shipped. I received all of the Blu-Ray titles I was interested in so far and that is a lot. Btw, all of them were in very good condition. You are much more likely to run into a scratched DVD when renting in store vs online.
