Update: I reset the remote, then programmed the Tivo under the DVR button by learning the buttons I wanted. That worked fine. So the only remaining thing about the remote that I find annoying is the clicking of the main buttons. So if it did not do that i would give it 10 out of 10 stars. As it is, I give it 9 out of 10. This is a great remote, not so much clutter to make your wife hand it back to you and tell you to use it, and a good enough layout to let you use it effortlessly in the dark.

I have the Blu-Link Universal Remote and it has worked well in the programming of my TV and Ps3 slim. I tried to learn Tivo commands over some of the TV buttons and only could get some of them to work. I could not get all the buttons that surround the center PUSH button. Two the the direction buttons programmed, but the other generate an error condition.

I called Tech support and they were stumped. First off, the programming codes for my series-ll and HD tivo did not work. Now that I think about it, it may be broke. The tech said that I may have really new Tivo's, the truth is , it does not matter how old they are, my older Tivo remotes still work on my newest Tivo. I will cal him back and explain that to see if he will admit that I may have gotten a defective remote.

Has anyone programmed their Tivo in this remote? Joe
