hey guys,

I have a number of hd dvd ripped to blu ray isos however for whatever reason TMT3 doesn't like to play them properly. Windows Media Player will play them back without audio even though ffdshow is installed and set to decode AC3. The graph shows the m2ts file is split by halli but there is only a video pin and no audio pin so ffdshow doesn't even run. Therefore I would like to know what is the quickest way to take my isos or the m2ts file on them and convert it to mkv.

Thanks.

Have you checked the m2ts file with MediaInfo ? If MediaInfo can read the audio track information, then there is a good chance that a good source/splitter filter for m2ts (for example, MPC - Mpeg Source (Gabest)) works with it.

if you still end up deciding to convert to MKV, I would recomend MakeMKV. it should work quite well for what you want to do.
