It doesn't really work like that - it would be awesome if it did!
Most of the "smart tv sets" have a digital media player of some sort built into them and they can play media from an attached usb drive and/or over the network (perhaps using DLNA). These players by and large have very strict limitations on the types of files they can/cannot play. Usually codecs in the bluray spec (DTS-MA, TrueHD, possibly VC1) all fall outside their compatible file types.
Beyond the fact the TV can't render the file, it can't access the disc on the player either
There are probably some products in the really expense consumer space that might do what you have in mind - Kalaiedescape and Mozaex come to mind - but having a network attached Samsung bluray player in your living room won't allow you access to those discs on your bedroom Samsung smart tv.
