Does anybody know of a bluetooth headset that exists for a PC. Will any bluetooth headset combined with a bluetooth transmitter/receiver work?


My primary use would be to carry on voice and or video chats while sitting back 12 feet from my 128" screen. Alternatively I would like to use it for voice control of my HTPC.

I've been doing a bit of research on this as well. In theory any bluetooth headset should work, but the bluetooth hub you have on your PC needs to support the correct bluetooth profile. Apparently the microsoft bluetooth keyboard/mouse combo comes with a bluetooth hub that does not support the headset profile. The logitech hub however does. I just got a Logitech diNovo and the software does have a profile for headsets. I do not have a headset yet, so I have not tested this out yet. I'm interested in doing this for in game voice communication. I'll post my results when I do get a bluetooth headset.
