Anybody got a glimpse of this? This is the one with the new Z4. IMO I thought the PQ was spectacular, especially when they did a closeup with the gun.

I would be interested in checking it out, but I can't find anything on their schedule that looks like what you describe. Could you give us a better idea of how to find it? This is where I looked:

Thanks,

If this is what I think it is, you can go to bmwfilms.com to see these short "featurettes" which are directed by well-known movies directors and which star BMWs.....
This was also on DiscoveryHD. It looked great.
These are the new bmwfilms flicks from "The Hire" series. In this thread one of the advertising execs with HDNet said they would be showing these shortly after the website release:

Don't believe they are yet listed on the schedule, but should be soon. By the way, if you don't have the original five flicks you can email bmwfilms and they'll send you the DVD for free (at least they were last year).
"Hostage" and "Ticker" will be on the schedule next week. We can't air "Beat the Devil" till Dec. 5th when we will be airing all three films together and they will be on the schedule.

We also will be working them into our "Intro to HDNet" for December.

Please let us, and, more importantly, BMW, know what you think :)
Hey Karl,

I think you've hit on a hot idea. Advertisers are looking for long-form ad outlets, and BMW, well, brilliant, that's all I can say.
I caught it right after the Mark Cuban show on Monday. It's like 10 mintues long! I loved it!
Too bad they don't have the Dolby Digital 5.1 issues worked out. The old DVD series had excellent sound.

David.
kmeisenbach,

do you have the exact time for the next airing? I would love to see it again!

I think kmeisenbach won't tell us the exact time for the next airing. He want you to be glued to HDNET next week, if you want to see the BMW Films again :D

Seriously, though.... I also would like to know the exact time :)

btw, if i can get someone to pay me $$ in the amount of my phone number 4XX-XXX-XXXX that would be sweet :) I also didn't mind buring several bundles :)

God, I'd kill for these on DVHS.
I just downloaded their two season clips and sent them a note begging them for some .ts files to play on the hipix.

David.
On the DiscoveryHD transmission (I caught it again tonight) the DD 5.1 was

excellent. It sounded as good as any major movie I have seen (or heard).
Heads up: "Hostage" is on the HDNet schedule for Monday (25th) between 11:00 and 11:30 PM EST.
we should have next weeks schedule posted soon so you have plenty of notice.. i also see it listed , eastern times, thurs 28th "Hostage" at about 8:15pm, friday 29th, "Ticker" at 11:15pm, Saturday "Ticker" 30th, 5:45pm.

starting December 5th, all three films will be in a package and on the schedule, and we will include them in the December "Intro to HDNet"

if anybody is in a BMW dealership, let them know what's going on, invite them to see them at a retailer or sports bar...schedule and places to watch are listed on our site. Don't forget your test drive :)
Karl its nice to see you here.....
