Anyone else get any bogus poopli requests? I just had someone request 6 shows at once with an ID of 1111-1111-1111. I also posted this on poopli with someone else who is having a similar problem.


Hope this is just a glitch, otherwise there's some tool trying to muck things up over there.

Should be relatively easy for the mods to delete accounts with bogus IDs like that no?

apparently poopli got some airtime on the screen savers, so now we will have lots of idiots signing up and entering bogus numbers, or requesting full movies/porn... (actually, most likely doing both!)


I've heard poopli might have the IVS tester incorporated into it, so you can't make requests until you pass an IVS test.

I did not see the Screen Savers Episode, but I would guess that they did not mention the fact that IVS is disabled on the 55xx models. I got two Poopli requests last night from people who had just registered on Poopli yesterday and listed their model number as 5504. Of course they had incorrect IVS numbers that did not work. I sent them a polite email explaining why I could not send the show requested and a link for this forum in case they wanted a good source of ReplayTV info and help.
