Due to WAF I am limited to utilizing a full front wall "book case" as for the entertainment center with shelfs for 61" tv, components, and front/center speakers. So towers are out. What is the best way to minimize effect of having
to put bookshelf speakers on a bookshelf as opposed to stands. Should the compartments for the speakers be larger than the speakers or close as possible to the same size? What about rear ports? Do they move sound as well as air and what happens if pointing to a back wall of a cabinet? Surrounds and Rears will be wall mounted, so this is not an issue. I am currently leaning to Aperion 632 l/r for mains, 522 vac for center and 535 ss for surrounds and rears. HSU vtf-3 for sub, but still undecided between Aperion and Axioms, maybe Ascends, yikes
too many choices....
Should mention that the wall unit will be custom built, so many options there.
