Yes i own a pair of bose the 10.2 II, Yikes.

But i think these are descent floor standing speakers before they made the toyish satelite ones. They are a lil outdated and so i tried to find a center that can match the sound stage of my 10.2. I emailed bose about the currnte VCS-10 center that they have in their lineup, and how good is it sound matching with my old bose. OF course then they respond that the VCS-10 match any speaker setup including other brands. THis i found very biased and now i turn to this forum to see if anyone have a center in mind for my pair of 10.2 series 2 bose. i know its old so plz dun make fun of me =(.

Thanks Tri.

I would definitely NOT buy the POS bose center. Some of their bookshelves are marginally acceptable, i would find a center from another vendor, and not worry about timbre-matching. You could spend more time doing research, and finding L/R that could replace your bose, and then maybe only get the center now, and upgrade your mains down the road, and then you'll be matched.

Hmm yea i fugured doing that but i really liked my old bose. i feel like these are pretty decnet floorstanding speakers. And i do not have enough money to buy a good pair of Floor speakers however i do for a center speaker. Thanks i probably end up getting a Ascend CMT-340 center. not sure if thats the correct model number. Hopefuly the timbre is not that off balance with my bose. and in the far future ill get the matching ascend L/R.

Thanks, Tri
