bose replacement

Hello all,


due to the overwhelming loathing to bose speakers on this forum, i am planning to sell my bose system and preferably upgrade to new 6.1 speakers (including sub) that cost around 700 to 800 USD any suggestions?


i am planning to purchase either an avr 230 denon 1804 or a pio 912 to drive these

lol, dbansal that is not a good reason to be replacing your speakers.

yamaha speakers are a great bargain as well. Excellent Sound for the price paid.

While I do not recommend Bose, are you happy with them? Or where you prior to reading this forum? Because if so than its silly to get rid of them just because of a general forum consensus, sure you won’t be able to brag per say about you speakers here without flames but if you are honestly happy then who cares, right? If you do not like how they sound however, then I would recommend upgrading and trying to sell your Bose system.

goto a dealer and listen to some sub $1000 systems. theres a 99.99999 percent chance you'll dislike your b05e after that.
