Boston Acoustics from Denon dht-590ba.

Both sets get a lot of good press, probably going to settle for one of the two. Which one is better for a big open room?

Thanks.

Hi,

I am having Energy Take 5 for last 6 months. It is too much worth for the paid money, and it is for the small-medium (slightly higher than small) room for Mid Volume listener. Also Energy Take 5 Center speaker is good, but not the best…

If you have big room, then you can look Energy Veritas V-mini/V5.1. I heard V-mini and it is room filling sound with Audio Sensitivity of 90.5 db for Bookshelf and 93.5 db for Center.

Also my experience I saw all Energy Speakers are dependent to Audio Source Content.

But I love Energy Spekers Crisp, Natural and Live sound stage.

Thanks

Neither one is even adequate for a small room.

Both sets have drivers that are 3 inches in the front speakers, same as a clock radio in a cheap motel. They also have something they CALL a "subwoofer": which it is NOT. It is a joke.

They are totally inadequate for decent sound quality.

You should consider the Jamo S426HCS3, which is far far better for a large room.

The martin-Logan MLT-2 is also not too bad for a smaller room, but maybe not for a large room.
