With the assistance of the fine folks here at AVS, and the loving cooperation of my wife, we took the plunge and bought it yesterday!


While the set itself is available, the stand is not. The vendor had set up one for us to view, and in the process, scratched the face of the stand. The wife and I decided to wait rather than take that one.


I had previously posted about a poor showing of the 810 version, but that was not the case this time - excellent color and clarity on HD and quite solid performance on 480p. SD, well, we all know how THAT goes!


I am a few weeks away from getting it delivered, but once I do and have a chance to spend some time, I will update everyone.

I am going to pay particular attention to the wiring, do a nice job of neatening up and upgrading as well.


Once I have a chance to run HVE (i was told this is a better selection than AVIA for LCD), I will let you know how she looks!
