Bowers and Wilkins 800 Diamond Just reduced

For sale: Three 800D2 $24,000 for all three (New they were $39,000 for the three of them + CA sales tax)

Condition: Like New, including all the packaging, and spikes

Color: Cherry Wood

Age: Less than two year old, registered with B&W

Local pick-up strongly preferred: Southern California

Method of payment: Cash or Bank Cashier's check

I would prefer local pick up but can ship at the buyer’s expense as long as it is done properly and insured.

PM me for Audition

These are my dream speakers. How can I explain to my son that I would rather have these speakers than pay for his college tuition? LOL I don't think my wife would think that was funny, so, I guess they will have to wait.
I know what you mean why do you think I am selling them!

What are you moving to when you sell these? I've seen pictures of your room and it's beautiful.

Have you put your speakers up on Audiogon. If not, that might help move them. There was a thread over there recently talking about people less than enthused with hearing the new D3 offerings. So the D2's could still be the ones to get.

Really? I've heard the opposite...many D2 owners planning to sell to move to the D3s. I guess that's what makes a market. I was fortunate to be able to hear a pair of 802N (trade-ins), back to back with the 802D2 recently, and then the 802D3 at a show at the same store a few days later. I think the D3s definitely sound different, and I prefer to the previous. Oddly, I like the 802Ns next best.
