Hi,

I just got my boxlight 1HD and it looks great playing from a progressive scan DVD player. However, today I plugged it in to my PC and just looking at Windows, the resolution looks terrible. All the Icons and text is fuzz. I changed the settings and bumped up the resolution to 1280x1024, but the resolution is still very fuzzy and doesn't look good at all. I'm wondering if I am supposed to use a special cable to connect from the pc to the projector. I just used the vga cable that was connected to my old monitor.

Sorry, its hard to search this forum cause it wont accept 1HD or Z1.

Thanks for any help.

Hmmm set your pc to 800x600 or 640x480 the Z1 has only 540 lines so it has to scale the image down to fit the higher you set the computer the more it has to scale.

I had my Powerbook connected to the Z1 in 800x600 and didn't found the results bad looking.

To long of a cable doesn't help neither.

Maybe you wont to look at the HDPC section maybe you can run the PC with software like power-strip in the Z1's native resolution.
