Are there any other programs that you can build or calculate cabnets with speakers smaller than an 8"?

I have a nice sub from a klipch pro media sub i want to build a better box for it or try tunning it lower for my room. I dont need a ton of bass this little 6-6.5 what ever it is. Its a fine size but it just doesnt seem tuned right for what im using it for.

How are you guys building cabnets for woofers and such smaller then 8"?

A bandpass box might be fun to try with it also.

Here is the woofer i pulled from the promedia 2.1 cabnet. I found it on clean up day some one threw it out because the amp was blown and ive replaced the amp and ive been using it but i can tell its not tuned right or in the right size cabnet.

Ide like it to fit under my stereo rack wich has a space of 12" tall X 18" wide by 15" deep

Was it in the original enclosure? If so, I'm sure the Kilpsch designed it for optimal sound from that sized driver. The original amp probably had some EQ in it. So a different amp won't give it the same output.

That i dont know, there are numbers on the back of the magnets though. B16AR90PF-01FW Then a few spaces and it then says 0112 at the top of the magnet there is a 6 so i guess its a 6 ohm speaker?

I just measured it with my ohm meter it is 6 ohms.
to model a driver, one needs thiele small specs. without that, it's a total crapshoot.

I know, but i like the crapshoot odds.

The numbers B16AR90PF-01FW say its a 7" but it measures 6.5

I guess ill just use the boxnotes 8" specs and build that using a 2"X10" port

15X18X12 size to fit in my cabnet under the shelves.

Never mind ive decided that if i build somthing that is tuned lower it will ruin my sound. Right now im just using cubes so if i rebuild the speaker and its tuned really low then it will sound like a bose setup. All highs and lows.

Its tuned to about 60hz now i think measuring the size of the box and the length of the port tube.
I believe the phrase is

no real highs

no real lows

must be Bo$e
