I have a PS3 connected to a Denon 2807 (via hdmi) which then connects to an X series Bravia (which I think is an XBR2 in the US) via hdmi. On random occasions whilst I have been watching a blu-ray or playing a game, the Bravia screen will go blank for about 2-3 seconds and the input signal on the Denon will flash off then back on (the lights on the left hand side that indicates the source is a 5.1 signal).
Whilst the screen is blank, I can normally still hear the sound (after short pause), then after a couple of seconds, the picture will return.
This has only happened on 2 separate occasions in the last 3 months. I am thinking it is a handshake issue but can't seem to find any other people describing this issue (whether it be with a Denon or Bravia). Does anyone know what this might be?
