i dont know if this is the right forum for this...but i currently have the bravo d1 connected to the sony hs10 with 1:1 mapping (1366x768) and looking into a dvhs cause i read somewhere that it puts out a better picture.....anyone with dvhs player or experience with one have any comments about this...any pros and cons with dvhs...thanks in advance...

DVD is 720x480 no matter how you map it and DVHS is 1920x1080. DVHS looks tremendous. I bought my DVHS recorder to record HD and there aren't many D-Theater titles and I would not buy one just for watching D-Theater. Of course you would need a Samsung T-165 if you want to keep you video signal all digital as DVHS doesn't have DVI. So, you would hook DVHS up to Samsung T-165 with firewire and then run DVI from Samsung to projector for best possible picture.
