OT....but awhile back when I helped setup a Sharp LCD and a Pioneer Plasma....the breakout box where all the connections were made and also the remotes were strikingly almost exactly the same.
What actually determines the PQ of either a LCD/Plasma. Glass is obvious but are there any other factors that come into play....such as the quality of the breakout box ?
When I had looked into LCD Flat Panels , I learned that it was the DAC of the LCD FP was what determined the PQ (connected via a DVI video vard) versus a higher end video card, if connected via CRT/BNC that would aid the PQ .
