Does anyone know of any southern ca stores that sell the Benq 6100. I am considering getting one before the weekend, but I don't want to pay the overnight shipping costs to make sure it gets to me on time. Plus if I am not happy, I don't want to have to pay to ship back.

Wouldn't buying from an out of state website that doesn't charge sales tax save you more than enough to cover overnight shipping and then return ground shipping if need be?

I too live in So. Cal and I searched high and low for B&M BenQ reseller. There are several, however, none I found had the projector in stock. Some of the smaller AV dealers offered to order the item for me and could get it over night, however, most were priced around $1100. That said, i finally pulled the trigger today and ordered from Visual Apex - no sales tax, and ground shipping from WA. I figure it should be here by Wednesday. I'll keep you posted. In the meantime, if you find a B&M store with the pj in stock, let us know (I guess I can still *refuse* delivery if need be)
