So, my wife and I have been going back and forth on the current theater setup. Right now we've got a living room theater, and due to a number of factors, we're thinking about moving it to one of the spare bedrooms. It will be a combination guest room/theater, which isn't ideal, but it's better than I thought I'd be able to get!

Anyway, the real question is about the walls. I know that the darker the walls the better, but to fit with the color scheme in the house we'd need to make the room a bright color (think fire-engine red or the like). My main question was whether or not the reflections from brightly colored walls would be *worse* than white walls because of a potential color shift, or if any darkening of the wall color would be better than white. Any thoughts?

The room is small and slightly odd-shaped (about 10 feet by 13-14 feet) with high (10') ceilings. The projector is a LT150, and will probably be ceiling mounted and projected onto a 1.5 gain pull-down screen.

Thanks!
