I just recently bought my first HDTV and Im looking into getting the HD Cable+HD DVR package from brighthouse(tampa bay)

It seems satellite is not a option being the type of appartment im in.

Im currently watching basic cable,no box.

I also was given a series2 tivo for xmas which i have yet to make a decision on whether or not to set it up do to the cost of service+decent cables+wireless nic which i believe i would need...

Which STB and HD DVR does brighthouse provide? Is there any option of what box you get?

How is your experience with brighthouse services/products?

Any info is appreciated

Thanks

I have Bright House here in Indy and my HDTV service has been very good. I can watch the local network stations in HD via QAM through the TV's built-in tuner. I also have the DVR from Bright House which is the SA 8300HD. I've had great service from it. Wonderful for quick replays during NFL games!

You would be better off asking in the local Tampabay section.

A Series 2 Tivo is worthless to you for HD.
