Hi,
For some time I've been able to enjoy MKV packed movies in Theatertek having made a simple graph. However, I've now installed the latest PowerDVD 7.3 in the pursuit of playing HD-DVD discs and this appears to have broken my MKV playback.
Initially I found that the MKV graph now errored on opening so I simply remade it using Haali media splitter into coreAVC then into VMR9. This plays the MKV file but I am unable in TT to correct the aspect ratio.
I attempted to remake the graph using the Cyberlink h264/AVC decoder I had in my Graphedit favourites but Graphedit cannot now find this file.
I recollect sometime ago when I first attempted to use MKV files that there was some mention of using the demo version of PowerDVD to use its h264 decoder and I now wonder whether whether the new PowerDVD install has overwritten something here?
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
JS
