I have A Sony KDP51WS550 and my HTPC going into it through DVI....First with a ATI 9600....and as of four days ago a Nvidia 6800NU. Up until this morning it worked flawlessly on 66.81 drivers......but for some reason I can't even get the PC to recognize there is anything connected through DVI. I reinstalled MCE 2005. Wiped drivers reinstalled and no luck...even through the 9600 back in there and installed newest drivers and couldn't get any picture at all on the Sony Just a black screen. I then used the DVI to VGA converter to the HP monitor and that worked OK....so I guess the DVI port on the TV must be bad....Is that common???Anyone got anything I can try?

It could happen, I had it happen on a Samsung DLP RPTV a year ago, the Digital Input Board (houses the DVI input) died on me.
