These are the two amps I have been offered from two seperate authorized dealers of the products they sell.


Bryston 9B THX

B&K 200.7


Both have received great reviews.

I realize one is 5 and the other is 7 channel, not important

I am not so much concerned with the $125 difference as much as I am concerned with the best quality for the money.


Which amp will provide the best performance with the Klipsch RF7s and RC7.

I'd look on the used market for the Bryston, they have a 20 year warranty so buying used makes more sense. I got the 9B THX for $1700 and really like the amp.

Bryston, if you like accurate, neutral, sound. B&K, if you want something with a warmer sound. Quality? Well, Bryston offers the 20 yr warranty so that tells you how they feel about their quality. B&K has a 5 yr warranty. Both are quality pieces. The Klipsch's are very efficient so either amp will provide more than sufficient power. The B&K/Klipsch combo might tame the brightness of the Klipsch slightly. Ideally, you should try each amp with your speakers. You might like one combo better than the other. It's all personal preference.
