I have some very strange problems with my current video card, (a ASUS 8770) , it all seems good, playing most DVD movies, but if I try to play "Jonah - A Veggietales movie" or if I try to play "The talented Mr Ripley" I get a blue screen of death, if I play the DVD itself or a ISO image dosn't matter.

However, to really make it complicated, this only happens if I have nVidia drivers newer than Juli '03, if I have older drivers it plays... but for various reasons I need new drivers.

Does anyone have any clue what might be wrong ?

I'm thinking about getting a new video card, if that will be my solution, I guess it's also the right time to change my old VGA cable, and change my connection (to my Panasonic PTAE700) to HDMI connection .. what would I then be looking for in the video card???.. just a DVI output or would anything else important to remember?
