im looking for an HT reciever. i dont care about video inputs or video performance. this is what i need:
DD/DTS 5.1
L/R pre outs that DO NOT mix down mutichanel sound.
basically i want to continue to use the internal amp for the other 3 channels but send pre outs to my higher end stereo system for L/R.
obviously the better way to go about this is with a dedicated processor power amp combo, but i dont have the funds for that, and the amount of time i spend watching tv/film is too minimal to be worth it.
this shoudl be relativley cheap, $500? anything more and it would be more cost effective to just buy a budget 2nd set of bookshelves (since i will have sub in HT) and just park them next to my main tower LRs, having 2 completely independent systems.
is this possible?
