Budget HTPC w/6600- Help needed

I'm in the process of researching hardware for a budget HTPC. I would like to utilize older generation hardware to save on costs. I am not in need of the latest and greatest, just dependable for this application.


I will be using this for a dedicated HTPC, no gaming at all.

I would like PVR capabilities, and a HD tuner card.


I am in need of recommendations for a Nvidia GPU. It looks like most people recommend a 6600 for HDTV. So what GPU's will be able to push HDTV out to a Infocus 4805? Are all 6600 cards capable? I am going to use DVI out to the projector.


Also, I would like to use a Sempron 2800+ to save on costs, if this is a bad idea.
