Think I finally decided on a projector, and as such, I need a screen. I am hoping to project an image of 120'' diagonal and will have very little ambient light in the room. It will be used 95% for movies and 5% for games. My walls and ceiling are white (I know!) and my carpet is light colored. The projector I will be using is the ax200 from Panasonic, so I imagine brightness will not be my problem. Any suggestions?

I am looking for something under $200 and am not very handy. Thanks in advance!

There's a roller shade at home dep$t that's pretty inexpensive. I got one 6 years ago. It was white vinyl, and worked okay, but there was a lot of hotspotting. Can't remember the exact price, but I think it was only fifty clams or so.

Later I settled on a 106" HCMW from BH Photo. They've got some DaLites well below what your budget is (mostly matte whites). In hindsight, IMHO it's better to go with a real screen instead of a window shade...

Or you can contact some of the fine AVS screen sellers here - they definitely have the expertise if you need assistance with the different choices out there...

Go with a matte white if you're happy with your PJ's contrast and brightness and want the cheapest deal; a HCMW if you want to boost contrast; or a HP if you want that color/brightness pop.

Thanks for the reply and suggestions. What do the acronyms mean...HCMW, HP?
