I'm looking for a DVD recorder that also upconverts DVD's well to 720p, hopefully under $150. Are there any out there made by Funai or anyone else? Thanks.

I thought the same thing but this time it doesn't include a VHS recorder. Which should be an easier order to fill

Then we're still back to Panasonic and the ES25S -- $175 on line.
