Don't know whether this has been mentioned before, but I just noticed I was up to 71 autorecords with no missing icons and other goofy screen misbehaviors.


With 3.5 when I got above around 65 autorecords I would have icons disappear, colors change and other strange behavior. After removing the autorecords the problem would go away.


Hooray to MS for fixing that bug. At least to 71. It will probably take a few more months to get up to 90+ autorecords.

Another bug that I've been told is fixed under 3.7 is the "No Power" error which caused the UTV to not record something because the UTV had "Locked up" and during this time any recordings scheduled would not record and show the "program did not record because the system didn't have power..." type of error.


Had this problem once when it was recording "American Dreams" and it "locked up" and kept recording NBC for 3 hours or so till I manually stopped it. It never showed the recording as 3 hours... Only 1 hour listed... But I had 3+ hours of recording. Several programs scheduled after "American Dreams" didn't record even though there was a "free" tuner available...


Since 3.7 I've not had this problem... I was told 'privately' this error was fixed... For some strange reason "THEY" (MS?) where keeping quiet about this error's fix in 3.7...


I've discussed this error before in a few posts, but I'm not sure it's ever been openly admitted that it has been fixed.


Hope DTV/UTV doesn't pull my UTV Service.
