Building HT - What kind of sound absorbing curtain to use?

Attached are pictures of the space I have to work with.
My question is, what curtains or material should I use for the wall drapes to absorb the most sound?
I do not want these to be acoustically transparent. Just the opposite, I want them to be my primary source of acoustical absorption. I want to really deaden the room-- like a recording studio.
Anybody have input on what fabric/material/foam...these should be constructed from or where to buy pre-fabricated drapes for just this purpose?
