newegg offers the radeon a-i-w 9700 pro for a few dollars less ,with free shipping, than ati direct. the newegg board says built by sapphire. Is there a difference?

AFAIK, the 9700s are all produced at the same factory. In fact, there are rumours Sapphire manufacture these boards for ATI, so they should be the same.

If you add the optional component dongle to the 8500 aiw do you get the same features as the 9700 pro aiw? of course with a lesser gpu.
