Bulb for Compaq MP4800 (Optoma??)

Hey Everyone!


First off - thanks to everyone who makes these forums soooo invaluable for anyone doing home theatre for themselves. Without your help I would have been lost.


Onto the Question:


I have a compaq Ipaq mp4800 that I have been told is a re-branded Optoma (I think it was a 750 or 755)


1st - could someone confirm the above?


2nd - can someone tell me if the bulbs for the Optoma would be cheaper and compatible with the mp4800? Compaq wants over 500$ for a replacement - yikes!
