We had ouselves and unofficial AVS/AGE Burnout Revenge night last night that was a total blast!!! Bourbon, Treek, Buckshot, SuperRabbit, Flipmaster and I ventured into these waters. For some, it was a matter of knocking off the rust from a game that sat dormant for far too long. For others, they just picked a copy of the game up on the way home from work.
I'd say the learning curve for some was about 20mins. But MAN!!!! What a fun game! After several failed attempts, we were able to get the infamous sixth man to finally stick with the EA crappy servers, and then it was on. Payback was the name of game and I think we all still owe each other some!!!
Once Bourbon figured out the little green skittle was the boost and once we all understood that the B button didn't run the chainsaw, we were good to go! There are some crazy a$$ "Ooooh sh1t!!!!" moments in that game that just had us all laughing. Lots of fun! No headshots. No locusts. No torque or boom. Just balls to the wall driving and duct tape on the A button!
I think a few of us are possibly going to make it an unofficial official night. Something like an AGE/AVS DUI Friday or Sobriety Checkpoint Friday. Anybody else thinkin' what I'm thinkin????
BTW - I was soooo tired on the way in to work this morning! I kept pushing the cruise control button on my steering wheel and wondering where my boost was!
