Long story short - I have searched the web and haven't found much on this.

(This is not the "HUM" problem)

Basically, I just installed a buttkicker and it is great expect for one problem...whenever it hits there are screens produced on the screen of the projector. These waves do not occur when the buttkicker amp is powered up but rather only when it is powered up and hitting.

To isolate the problem I disconnected the basshaker and still kept the amp unit of the buttkicker plugged in to receive a signal - this did not reproduce the waves - the waves only come when bass shaker is hitting.

This is odd however though because the projector is not connected to the receiver (I have ps3 plugged directly to the projector).

This means the only similar item between the projector and the buttkicker is power but again, I ran an extension cord and plugged in the base shaker to a different circuit in the house and still the same problem.

Has anyone had this problem?

Is it posible the PJ is receiving LFE vibration ?

Do you have kinetic rubber isolation feet on your chair/couch?

What kind of screen do you have? How is it mounted? How is the Buttkicker mounted? Is there any mechanical connection between the screen and the Buttkicker?

Why do you have the ps3 plugged directly into the projector?

No vibration to the projector. I did a test and held the buttkicker today and made sure no vibrations would touch screen or projector and the lines still happened.

This time however, I plugged it into a different circuit in the house...the good news is it fixed the problem for just a minute - the bad news is the fuse blew and now my subwoofer has a "hum" sound to it and any time I plug the buttkicker amp into any outlet in the house now the subwoofer makes a really loud "Hum" sound. I hope I didn't ruin anything...
