There's supposed to be a trade-in program for the new release of Fifth Element later this year. Daggers is tougher though, if it were uncut I'd probably already own it.

I'll have to check out my local Fry's after work. Pursuit of Happyness, Identity, and Layer Cake for 45 bucks plus tax is a bargain. Plus I can sell off my SD-DVD copies of Identity and Layer Cake to subsidize the purchase.

I'm not sure they'll let you mix and match prices based on the wording of the ad. It said something like the free one has to be the same price as the other 2. It did not say the lowest priced one is free. However, it sure would make sense to allow mixing and matching.

I would hope if I buy one for $24.99 and a 2nd for $19.99, that I'm allowed to pick up a $19.99 Blu-ray title for free. Why would Fry's not want the extra 5 bucks?

Since the ad is in the "Los Angeles Times" and is not store specific, I'd say "yes."

The ad states: "Purchase must be made on same receipt. Free title must be of equal value."


That could be a sticking point of mixing titles with different prices. Some Fry's I've been to are not very flexible and follow the ads down to the very last letter. Guess we'll get some reports soon as to which Fry's stores are allowing mixing.
