Hello,
after reading around many posts in this forum (really interesting, it's great to have these sources of information when one has to decide something...) and in others, and after going to a store where I live to put my hands on one (actually here they don't have HG21s, so I was only able to put hands on a HG10, but HG21 can only be better...) I'm inclined to buying a canon HG21 and I saw the offer on amazon at 760 $: really interesting.
I've got a question: I live in Italy, where the TV analog standard is PAL while I think in the States it is NTSC. I know that HD televisions connect via HDMI cables that don't mind this analog problem, but at present I've got no HDTV and so, for at least some time, I'll have to connect the camera to my old TV.
Do you know if the camcorder has the possibility to switch between the two standards, or if Amazon sells both NTSC and PAL ones?
Or if I buy it on Amazon I'll get a NTSC one and won't be able to connect it directly to my TV set?
Thank you!
Paolo
