Buying lamps for DLP.
I have an Samsung HLN model DLP and I've had it for about 1.5 years. Though the lamp hasn't burned out now, do you think it would be wise to buy a lamp now and store it or wait until the existing lamp burns out? I don't know if, a few years from now, lamps will be freely available and at a reasonable price. I also don't know if the lamp will get spoiled if it sits unused for some time. Thanks.

What's a good price to pay for a lamp, on average how much do they run? Also, can these things be easily replaced at home or would I need to get it serviced?
I would expect these to come down in price just like everything else. Guess I'll keep watching to make sure they don't go up.
I would think the price would only go up, no? After a while, bulbs for older sets might be tough to find/expensive.
