I am using a Lutron GraficEye system and i am getting buzzing/ringiing when my lights are dimmed. Very annoying. I know this was talked about a while back, and mostly it was to use a certain brand of bulb, etc.

These are the lights in my 4" ceiling cans.

Any help/thoughts would be very much appreciated.

Thanks!

I'm having the same problem with my 4" cans. The unusual thing is that I thought this was *not* supposed to be a problem with magnetic transformers.

Hmmm - I have the same issue with only one set of track lights, hooked up to a Lutron dimmer.

I have another matching set hooked up to a matching dimmer, no problem, and another set hooked up to a simple switch, no problem. Maybe it is bulbs...

I have 4" cans, magnetic, low-voltage, mr16s on my GE with no problems.

I'm an electrical neophyte and I did all my own HtT wiring. All HT lighting is on one circuit.

I do have other line voltage lighting on dimmers in my house that buzz. I didn't install them, the contractor did. Go Figure.

I also did all of the wiring for my HT and all of my lights are on a single circuit.

I use the 65watt Phillips Long Life Recessed Flood (indoor) for my can lights and do not have a problem.

Had used 60watt GE bulbs in my sconce lighting and had the ringing, switched to the Philips DuraMax (long life/soft white) and eliminated the problem.

All used with standard Lutron dimmers.

All purchased from Home Depot.
