My display has the buzzing problem (sept manufacture). I am unsure what to do about it. Do I call Dell and make them take it back? Do I take it in for service and make them fix it?

What are your thought? I know New Jersey can fix it, but can their facility here in Northern California (not sure where it is)?

I think maybe sending it back is the way to go.

Please offer suggestions.

Did you call Dell service

you dont want to return anything without

first talking to a vendor, but I'd try

panasonic service, because I would not want

to be shipping a plasma all over

If that does no good, call one of the local

authorized panasonic plasma dealers in your area.

The panasonic web page can give you a list

of dealers.

Northern California has a bunch, its where I

found the dealer I bought from in Sunnyvale

Panasonic's repair facility in No. Calif. is in So. San Francisco. You can see it from 101 as you drive by.

Update: Dell has arranged for an exchange, but there is a mega catch.

The money-back guarantee is only 30 days. If a new one comes before then and it works, I am set. If it doesn't, I will have to send this one back and lose out on the super-low price.

I will then sit and wait until Jan/Feb for the Pioneer and probably also be a dealer by then (that will mitigate the price pain somewhat, but not the lack-of-plasma pain).

This set is cool. I hope I don't have to send it back because the replacement is delayed.

Anyone have a contact at Electrograph to find out if there are still any in stock?
