When using an external scaler or HTPC for its superior video processing capabilities, how do bypass the LT150's internal video processor? Is it automatic or done with via a projector setting?

By connecting the LT150 with the standard monitor cable, you are not using the scaller. I believe the scaler is only used through the s-video and composite connections.

Set your HTPC or scaler to 1024x768 output and go into the menus on the LT150 and select "native" resolution. Just hooking a HD15 cable to the pj won't bypass the scaler.
