C3X1080 4:3 Stretch

805 Views 3 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  Tony Costanza
I have a plain vanilla setup - no ISCO lens. At times I like playing old 4:3 b/w films. I would like to horizontally stretch the picture slightly to an aspect of about 1:6. Is there a way to do this using the PJ user aspect function? If so how? I can't find any info on this in the manual.

Yes there is, and its very quick and easy. The user AR has full control in both axes. There are user 3 presets per memory with a number of memories per input. each AR can be associated with a12v trigger if needed.

Very straightforward.

Hope that answers your question.
Thanks, works fine although you're confined to interlace. I increased the width and took a little off the height and the 4:3 picture looks fantastic.
I decided to try using the aspect panoramic mode only to find that it does not work. It increases the vertical picture size vertically but does nothing to increase the horizontal size. I tried both interlace and non.
