My dedicated theater is very small 11' x 11' but works well for the two of us. I will be purchasing a mini refrigerator 1.7 cu. ft. and was wondering if anyone had any ideas about a cabinet that I could place it into. I do not have much room so it would need to be on the small side.

Thanks

Based on way a refrigerator works, I'm not sure you can enclose it.

refrigerators that are meant to be enclosed in cabinets are pretty pricey - $500 and up, mostly up. They have bottom cooled compressors while most are rear mounted. If you put one in a cabinet that is not designed for it, it will not work well and will not last long.

Good luck.

I wonder if you built the cabinet yourself (or modified an existing one), and provided ventilation (say, wire mesh inserts, or HVAC cold air return type vents), if you might get away with a regular mini-fridge.

Or, is your setup such that you could build a fridge space into a wall? The backside could protrude into a laundry area or equipment room. That's what we did . Mine extends into an equipment room that runs the length of one HT wall. All the compressor noise goes into the equipment room, so it's pretty quiet on the HT side.
