Poking around the CEA's sites, I ran across the October issue of their DTV Guide at their DTV subsite . Check out the article entitled "Cable Carriage Grows Slowly" on the page marked 30 (page 33 of the PDF). All I can say is "God bless Time Warner Cable!" Though there's no DTV in the one I live in yet, I've never been happier to live in an area served by one of their systems.

So far I haven't had any complaint with their television service, and Road Runner has been more than satisfactory: I get 2.5 to 4 Mb/sec down most of the time. Now, if they'd just implement some HD carriage locally, I'd be really happy.

It seems to me that this chart is incomplete, though--isn't at least Cablevision in NYC/central-NJ area carrying some HD?
