Need to purchase component video to 15pin RGB input on LT150. Does anyone know if Radio Shack makes this cable and if they do what the part number might be. If not, where can I purchase this at?

Also, I believe that I have read in earlier posts about breaking off certain pins on the RGB connection. Is this true for the LT150? Which ones would they be, and what would the purpose be?

Currently using a interlaced DVD player with component output but will more than likely purchase the RP56.

Thanks for your help,

Ken

Hi Ken-

What you want is known as a "breakout" cable. I've never seen one at Radio Shack. You can order one from a variety of online cable merchants like bettercables.com and a2zcables.com. Here's a link to a2xcables.com:

You won't need to break off any pins on the VGA adapter for your purposes. Breaking off pins is a work around for certain finicky devices like the iScan. You shouldn't have a problem if you go with the RP56.

Good Luck,

Kirk
