I plan to connect a HD cable box with RCA component out ports to a plasma monitor that has BNC and/or VGA in. I read that adapters reduce Picture Quality, and that it would be better to get a cable with RCA plugs on one end and BNC and/or VGA on the other. I will have a relatively long run (20-30 feet) from my cable box to the monitor. Does anyone know whether there will be any significant loss in PQ if I use a RCA to BNC/VGA cable over 20 feet long?
