I have a situation in my basement HT where I wasn't sure about PJ placement, or if my wife was going to let me get a PJ at all, so I drywalled the ceiling without running any wires. I talked my wife into an AE100 and we've both have been pretty happy with it. Now its time to get it off the coffee table and put it on the ceiling. I can run a fishtape to the spot on the ceiling where the PJ is going to be mounted but my big concern is the length of the cable I'm going to have to run. To get from the PJ to my AV stuff the cable is going to be close to 60'. I plan on running a DIY component and cat5 for a future DIY RGB for HTPC.

Is 60' too long?

What other options are there?
