hi all

just swabbed my HTPC case and notice a bit of chance in the image, wonder if the smaller case & tighter wiring has something to do with increased electrical noise inside the case. Can we are share what we've learnt in terms of inside case shielding for cables and wirings ?

(DIGN HV5 ==> Silverstone LC11M)

I'll kick start with 1 helpful pages I've read :

http://www25.big.jp/~jam/htpc/htpc1/

this one suggests people to externalize all moving motors like HDD and DVD-ROMs to lower EMI, this raise the black levels. Not practical but clear result => shielding internal drives is very important

most other talks are about using braided cables or shielding them ... any observed improvements ?
