I have a lot of questions concerning cabling from my HTPC (Radeon 9000 Pro VC) to my LCD projector. (Yami LPX-500). Is there a place that that has a FAQ for this?
Here are my main questions...
1. What method of connection would give the best clarity at 16:9 and good resolution? I currently need to go at least 20'. (Not looking for expensive solutions, add on boxes, amps, repeaters, etc.. just cable at a good price, so optical DVI is probably not a good answer)
2. What are the differences and pros/cons of all the different types (relating to HTPC and LDC projector viewing)?
3. Which should only be used as a last resort?
4. Most importantly, a description of the types (maybe pics of each type) and more "common" names. Composite, RGB, VGA, etc.. they all are confusing.
Thanks!
